Itinerary

Day 1

Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Nameri (240km/5hrs)

Arrive in Guwahati airport/ railway station; our representative will assist you to the waiting vehicle. Get aboard, will take you to Nameri (240km/5hr). Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2

Nameri to Dirang (160Km/6hrs)

In the morning get into Nameri National Park. For the bird lovers, watch them in their vicinity, there are over 300 species of migratory and resident birds. Watch for tigers as Nameri is under project tiger. You might as well catch the sight of various elusive and rare species during safari. Post breakfast, indulge in adrenalin- pumping actives, go tracking and raft down Jia Borali River. After this jaunt embark on a road journey to Dirang, with the greeting of breathtaking valleys and misty rivers. Check in at hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3

Dirang to Tawang (145Km/7hrs)

After breakfast, visit Kalachkhra Gompa also known as Dirang Monastery. Visit kiwi and apple orchard, which is a common tourist attraction. Then move on to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is 150 years old and very beautifully build structure. Later drive Tawang, through Sela-Pass which is world second highest motorable road, at an altitude of 13,700ft. On the way stop by Jaswant Ghar, a mandir-cum-memorial of a great Indian soldier and Nuranang Fall a beautiful waterfall. Afterwards check in at hotel in Tawang and stay overnight.

Day 4

Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)

In the morning after breakfast, have a holly visit to Tawang Monastery, which is India's largest and Asia's second largest Monastery. It is about 350 years old, made in 17th century, it has a mesmerising beauty with age old architecture and traditional art forms. Witness spectacular snow-peaked mountain and a panaromic view of the scenic surrounding. Then we move on to a beautiful stupa, located in a very beautiful location, Tawang War Memorial, buid in memory of great Indian soldiers who lost their lives in 1962 Sino-Indian war. In the evening shop for local items and take home as an token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium and then enjoy light and sound show about 1962 war. Afterwards return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5

Tawang to Bomdila (185Km/8hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive Bomdila. Visit Bomdila Monastery and immerse in spirituality. Bomdila View Point offers a place to relax and soothe once mind and body. Visit Bomdila Apple Orchard. Explore local market at your own leisure. Afterward stay overnight in Bomdila.

Day 6

Bomdila to Tezpur, Tezpur Sightseeing (150km/5hrs)

After breakfast, drive Tezpur. En-route Tipi Orhidarium, consist of more than 500 different verities of Orchid and some rare one. Owning to its pious atmosphere and picturesque sights, We will visit all famous sightseeing places in Tezpur. Afterward stay overnight in Tezpur.

Day 7

Tezpur to Shillong (270km/7hrs)

After breakfast, drive Shillong, capital state of Maghalaya, also known as "Scotland of the East". On the way enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, we will have momo stop at Umiam Lake. Afterward, check in your hill resort and stay overnight in Shillong.

Day 8

Shillong & Cherrapunji Sightseeinhg (170km/9hrs)

After breakfast, enjoy the breath taking beauty of Wards Lake and Hydri Park. We will to drive Shillong Peak, which gives a beautiful landscape of the city. Also, admire the pristine beauty of Elephant Fall. Visit Shillong Air-Force Museum, know about Indian Air force and its history. Afterwards return to your hotel for overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 9

Shillong to Guwahati, Airport Drop (100km/4hrs)

After breakfast, depart from Shillong. Finally we will drop you by Guwahati Airport in accordance and convenience of your departure time, with sweet memories of the trip.

Pickup and drop from Guwahati Airport / Railway station/Bus station.
All sightseeing, land transfer & inter hotel transfer.
Driver allowance, Toll, Parking, Road Tax, Fuel charge, night halt, Interstate charges, Kaziranga Forest toll and forest guard welfare fees are included.

Entry fees of sightseeing spots, camera fees and optional activity/service costs like Rafting, Trekking, Guide fees etc are not included in the package.

Vehicle Details

The standard package cost is calculated for either a Toyota Innova (AC) or a Mahindra Maarazzo (AC). So, a dedicated vehicle of the said type, with a dedicated driver, would be provided for all of the five package options.

Above rates are calculated on the basis of hotels mentioned.
Paradise Northeast does NOT have any HIDDEN CHARGES.
If someone asks for extra money during the journey, Please inform us. We will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our knowledge and consent.
Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment.
In case of non availability of rooms in the mentioned hotels, this will be communicated to you and we will provide other options.
Hotels for each category are selected as per the budget and through our feedback system.
There is no star category hotel available in all places. However, we provide the best possible option as per your tour category.
Certain hotel may enforce special tariffs for mandatory gala/dinner on special dates like Christmas and/or New Year's Eve etc. The surcharge in the hotel tariff is not included while calculating the total cost of the package. You may need to pay additional amount for certain hotels for some special dates.
The dedicated vehicle provided to you is only to serve you the itinerary. It is not at your disposal.
As per Tawang local laws, outside vehicles are not allowed for local sightseeing. Therefore, we may have to arrange different local vehicle for Tawang sightseeing and we can’t assure about the quality of that vehicle as they provide vehicles as per their methods.
Credit Cards / Traveler's check are not freely accepted in many places.
In this region, roof carriers are not allowed in the vehicles. So, it is advised to bring luggage accordingly.
We advise you to check the temperature/weather of the places you are going to visit, and bring necessary clothes accordingly.
Woolen clothes, Jacket, Raincoat/Umbrella etc. are advisable to carry according to weather conditions.

Any extra breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.

The guest must carry photo identification like Passport, Voter ID Card or Driving License IN ORIGINAL at the point of check in at the hotel.
